About

I joined the Conroe Economic Development Council (CEDC) in May 2020 and love working with the amazing team of econdev professionals. In my role as Marketing Manager, I direct and oversee the CEDC's website and communication tools, including social media, e-newsletters, podcasts, videos and virtual tours and all CEDC printed and electronic materials, including press releases, community profiles, and annual reports. I am also responsible for the annual Conroe Allies Day event.

A native north Texan, I also lived the better part of a decade in Colorado where I discovered my passion for public administration and am delighted to bring my creative energy to the City of Conroe and back to the state I love. I serve on the Texas Economic Development Council Communications Committee and co-chair the City of Conroe Communication Committee.

My career has also included work in human resources recruiting and global training and development; teaching high school Forensics (speech/oral interpretation); and a rewarding experience for a nonprofit company that helped people with disadvantages achieve greater independence through employment placing and job training.

I graduated Magna Cum Laude from The University of Texas at Arlington with a Bachelor of Arts in Organizational Communication. I also received my Post-Baccalaureate Teaching Certificate from the University of North Texas.

My hubby and I are the proud parents of one daughter and two fur babies. I enjoy traveling, shopping for unique finds, and spending time with my family and friends.
