I am currently the Special Projects Manager for a rural city of about 10,000 people. I love getting to interact with the community I serve. I am blessed to get to wear many hats in this role. No two days look the same, and I love the challenge and reward that comes from a fast-paced change in direction from moment to moment. I take and edit marketing photos and videos for the city as well as design and distribute flyers and social media posts for local events. I am a Part 107 commercial drone pilot and get to use those skills for various city projects. I am very proud to be on the executive team and be involved in many aspects of city project planning and event organizing. I started my career with the City as the Building Department Permit Technician for one and a half years before stepping up into a Communication Manager role with the City. Whether it is residential, commercial, or anything in between, I am well versed in local building and planning codes. After a year and a half as the Communication Manager, I was promoted to my current Special Projects Manager position.
