Hey, my name is Alex and I work for Lake County Government in Illinois. We live in a world where government is perceived, well... not so great at times. And to be honest, that may be for a good reason. My goal is to effectively communicate with people. How do I think I achieve that goal? Through email I'm polite, courteous and factual. On Facebook I like to think I'm a little funny and casual. And in-person, I'm myself! 

I'm excited to go to work everyday because I love what I do. Working in government is a challenge, but I believe I have one of the most fun jobs in the world.
