About

Sheri is a recognized executive leader with extensive experience in strategic integrated marketing, public relations, communications, fundraising, and board development. Sheri is a multi-award winning public relations and strategic marketing executive who provides successful outcomes for clients by implementing non-siloed, integrated marketing campaigns. She not only takes the time to acquire a deep understanding of organizational culture and values, but also researches the desires of the campaign’s target demographic(s) through client consultation and independent research.


Ms. Lunn has been the creative director for collateral of all kinds and sizes - from business cards to vehicle wraps, podcasts to video promotions, print ads to billboards, promo giveaway items to full merchandise stores, social media pages to website launches.


She has written and edited a variety of materials, including but not limited to scripts, speeches, brochures, quotes, web pages, op-eds, white papers, print advertisements, talking points, research reports, press releases, radio shows, and voice over scripts.


She has worked on both sides of the microphone as a host/reporter/producer in the second largest media market in the nation and has produced press events at various locations across the country, including the National Press Club in Washington DC, in Times Square, New York, on the Boston Commons, and at Los Angeles City Hall. She has led media relations campaigns resulting in half a billion potential media impressions and has developed media relations trainings for companies and individuals. She has secured international media coverage in the New York Times, Los Angeles Times, Washington Post, Out Magazine, Daily Telegraph, Newsweek, Time, Mother Jones, Hollywood Reporter, Variety, Billboard, and on NPR, PBS, MSNBC, E!, ABC, CBS, BBC, and Toronto Star, among many others.


Ms. Lunn has produced charity events which have raised more than $35 million in total over her career, and has secured more than $1 million in grants for various nonprofit organizations. She was on the inaugural production team for the annual charity LOVELOUD festival and concert featuring Imagine Dragons, Neon Trees, Krewella, and Shoot the Moon, and worked directly with Dan Reynolds (lead singer of Imagine Dragons) from concept to implementation.  She is featured in the award-winning HBO documentary, Believer, that examines the intersection between LGBTQ people and The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (Mormon Church) and focuses on Reynolds’ efforts to organize the Festival in Orem, Utah in support of LGBTQ youth who are at highest risk for suicide ideation.  


She has written scripts, stage managed, and produced red carpet media opportunities for events featuring Jennifer Lopez, Elton John, Elizabeth Taylor, Kristin Chenoweth, Kathy Najimy, Carol Burnett, Jason Bateman, Tom Ford, Reese Witherspoon, Eddie Redmayne, Emily Blunt, Steve Carell, Nick Cannon, Chris Pratt, Jason Bateman, John Krasinski, Tom Ford, Alyssa Milano, Ellen DeGeneres, Nicole Sullivan, Jillian Michaels, Our Lady J, Judith Light, Elizabeth Banks, Kathy Griffin, John Oliver, Lily Tomlin, Chelsea Handler, and Lady Gaga, among others.


With 30 years of marketing and PR experience ranging from Forbes 100 companies, to national and local nonprofit organizations, entertainment and political figures, and governmental jurisdictions, Ms. Lunn is a former elected official for the City of Los Angeles, and currently serves as the Public Information Officer for the City of West Hollywood, and a sought after workshop presenter and conference keynoter. 


Ms. Lunn is a long-time social justice and healthcare advocate, an avid reader, long-distance bicyclist, international adventurer, theatre goer, an American Sign Language interpreter, and human to her rescue pup, Buddy.
