I’m Taylor Lavelle, Communications Specialist for the City of Melissa! I joined the City in January 2024, bringing with me seven years of corporate experience in marketing and communications and a passion for public sector engagement. Transitioning to municipal work has been an exciting journey, and I love finding creative ways to connect with the community.

A little about me—I was born and raised in Texas, went to school in Louisiana, and then spent six years in Southern California before my family and I moved back home. Texas has always had my heart, and I’m thrilled to be back!
